Focus stacking is an advanced photographic technique that involves capturing multiple images of the same scene, each focused at different distances. By combining these images using specialized focus stacking software, photographers can produce a sharp final image that exhibits greater depth of field than what is typically achievable with a single shot.

The software designed for photo stacking is generally user-friendly; however, the process of capturing the initial shots raises important questions: How many images should be taken? At which distances should the focus be adjusted? What aperture settings will yield the best results? It specifies the minimum number of shots required, the corresponding focus distances, and optimal aperture settings.

It boasts speed, efficiency, and accuracy, featuring a sophisticated optimization algorithm originally developed for the OptimumCS-Pro application, which has been adapted for use in capturing multiple frames.
